A slim teenager in China got her entire leg stuck in a storm drain while walking and texting. The girl who is still unnamed was paying rapt attention to her mobile phone while walking down the street in Mianyang City, in southwest China’s Sichuan Province. While she was busy texting a friend, she wasn’t paying attention to the pavement and when she stepped on a drain, her slim leg went right through the bars putting her left foot in a tight wedge. A good Samaritan had to call the fire brigade before she could be rescued after a 45-minute wait. Fire brigade spokesman Ming Lai said: “We managed to remove the bars and quickly freed her once we arrived at the scene.
