Madison Coe, 14, was having a bath at her home in Lovington, New Mexico, when the accident happened on Sunday morning. According to her family, the 14-year-old had either plugged her phone in or tried to use her phone, which was already plugged in, while she sat in the bath, causing her to electrocute herself. Her grand mother alluded that she was a very good and loving girl but lately she has been acting wayward which seemed surprisingly to her. She added that she hopes the accidents will be a lesson to others in the future, and said: ‘This is such a tragedy that doesn’t need to happen to anyone else. ‘And we want something good to come out of this as awareness of not using your cell phone in the bathroom as it is plugged in and charging.

China’s president, Xi Jinping, has called on  G20  members to champion an open world economy, strengthen economic policy coordination and forestall risks in financial markets, Reuters reports. Citing the Chinese state news agency Xinhua, Reuters said Xi also urged member states to follow a “multilateral trade regime” amid concerns over mounting protectionist pressures, including from Donald Trump’s US administration. “We must remain committed to openness and mutual benefit for all so as to increase the size of the global economic ‘pie’,” Xi was quoted as saying. The world’s economy was still troubled by deep-seated problems and faces many uncertainties and destabilising factors, he added.  Xi had already offered a vigorous defence of globalisation and signalled Beijing’s desire to play a bigger role on the world stage at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, in January.
